Ø Narration Text

      The purpose of narration is to tell a story or narrate an event or series of events. This writing mode frequently uses the tools of descriptive writing.

(Tujuan text Narasi adalah untuk bercerita atau menceriterakan suatu peristiwa atau rangkaian peristiwa. Dalam penulisan Narasi sering menggunakan perkakas tentang deskriptif tertulis).

Ø Example of narrative writing:

                             The Kind Duck and the Poor Frog

      One beautiful summer’s day, a duck decided to go to the river for a picnic. She tok a lot of food with her, and was really looking forward to eating it. She sat down on the river bank read the food out in front of her.

       “You’re not going to eat all that food yourself, are you?” said a small voice.

       She looked up and saw a frog sitting at the water’s edge.

       “Please give me some of it. I am very poor and hungry,” pleded the frog wiping a tear from his eye.

       She gave him a sandwich. To her surprise he did not eat it, but simply beside him.

       “Won’t you give me something else? After all, my need is greater than yours.” Bit by bit, the kind-hearted duck handed over most of her food: cakes and biscuits, apples and sweets. Soon, the frog had a huge pile of food next to him. With an effort he picked it all up, put it on his back, and started to swim away across the river. But the food was so heavy that he sank like a stone, and the duck never saw him again.

Itik Yang baik hati dan Kodok Yang miskin

        Satu hari musim panas indah, suatu itik memutuskan untuk pergi ke sungai untuk suatu tamasya. Dia  banyak makanan dengan nya, dan sungguh menantikan akan makan itu. Dia duduk di tepi sungai membaca dengan suara keras makanan itu di depan nya.

        " Kamu tidak akan memakan semua makanan kamu  sendiri, adalah kamu?"  dikatakan dengan suara kec

       Dia memandang dan melihat seekor kodok yang duduk di tepi air.

        " Tolong beri aku sebagian dari itu. Aku sangat lapar dan miskin," kodok memohon dengan berlinang air mata dari mata nya.

        Dia memberinya suatu sandwich. Kepada kejutan nya ia tidak makan itu, tetapi hanya di samping dia.

        " Tidak akan kamu memberi aku hal lain? Betapapun, kebutuhan ku adalah lebih besar dari milikmu." Sedikit-Demi sedikit, itik yang berbudi menyerahkan kebanyakan dari makanan nya: kue dan biskuit, buah apel dan manis. Segera, kodok mempunyai suatu gundukan makanan yang sangat besar dari pada dia. Dengan suatu usaha yang ikhlas ia memungutnya tidak ada gunanya lagi, menaruhnya di atas punggung nya, dan memulai untuk berenang pergi ke seberang sungai itu. Tetapi makanan menjadi sangat berat lalu ia tenggelam seperti suatu batu, dan itik tidak pernah lihat dia lagi.

D. Express Pain, Relief, Pleasure ( bahasa inggris XI )

* Expressing Pain when we get sick, we must feel pain on part of our body. When we get an accident, and we get injured because of it, we must feel pain. some expression of pain : - its very painful. I can't stand it. - the pain hurts me very much. - that's hurts!-Oh, my headache! - my back pains me. - I'm not feeling well. - I have a bad cough. - I feel terrible. - I'm really sick. - I can no longer stand. We can also add it with some interjection, such as : Oh!, Ouch! and Aw! * Expressing Relief When we have problem and we can solve it, we will feel relief. In other situation, when we feel worried about something that we will face it, we will also feel relief. a relief is lessening or ending of pain and worry. for example : - What a relief! - That's a relief! - I'm very relieved to hear that (it) - I'm glad everything's running well. - I'm glad it's done. - thank God for that. - Thank goodness. - thank heaveness. - Oh, good! - Oh, marvelous!, etc. * Ekspressing Pleasure (happiness) for example : - I'm delighted. - It's very delighted. - I'm pleased. - I'm happy (for)... - I'm glad. - Great! - It's wonderful. - How marvelous! - fantastic! - It's a great pleasure!, The example of the dialogue : ( Jalan, trz nggak sngaja A ditabrak B dr blakang) A : Oh my God. It hurts me so much. Be careful boy! Ahhh.., I'm getting head aches.. B : I’m so sorry, Sir. I’m in a hurry. I don’t accidentally. (sambil mngambil buku”yg jatuh, trs brdiri) Are you Ok Sir?? A : I thought, I would die because of you. But, Doesn’t matter. Other times you have to be careful. B : Yes, Sir..I’m sorry..Are you Mr. A?? A : How do you know me?? Have we met before?? B : No, we haven’t. I just ever saw you in a hotel when you were having a meeting, there. Nice to meet you Sir. A : owh,I see.. Nice to meet you,too. What’s your name?? B : My name’s B. Where will you go? A : I’ll go to the bus stop and go to the hospital. and u?? B : I’ll collect my task to my lecture. What for you go there, sir?? A : My wife is childbearing our first baby, I’m so worry about it. B : don’t worry, sir, All will be fine. I’m sure. (A's cellphone is ringing.) A : really?? Thank you very much, I can’t say how pleased I’m.. B : what’s the news sir?? A : my wife has childbeared, I have a son. That’s fantastic!!! Thanks God for that. B : Really?? It’s a great pleasure. Thanks goodness. Congratulation. A : ya, thank you so much. I’m glad everything’s running well. Aha! That’s the bus, i’m sorry, I must go now. I hope, you’ll graduate with the best score. B : yes sir, Thanks. Be careful, and see you. A : see you.

* Expressing Pain

MOMENTARY LOVE

While, where are I and holiday troupe go to Bali up to some days.at our Bali visits some place which boggle. And at one moment at while I and troupe take the air to go to sanur's beach. where are that time, everyone on is busy play olaraga water that don't we find at our region, I even try severally water mode already be of service by vehement. until I forget with my friends and after I please to play I even return to beach periphery and apparently afters I look for to go to which they have no around beach.      I think maybe they have returned to hotel. At that time, I am confusion and say inwardly “ how to I return to hotel, while I don't know region in here,handphone I even am at my friend bag”. I even direct sit on white sand and suddenly I perceive available someone that hold my shoulder and I say on that person“ why is sich you stay I, cannikin nots I know region here” and even that person is speaking“ not your leave ” that time I perceive that am not my friend voice?“and I direct get about-face apparently she really is not my friend. He is a boy which also taking the air at sanur's beach. I even get acquaintance with it and she also among I go to my place hotel lodge with troupe. After I get in at my hotel baring direct at bed and I think if boy that among I go home to go to hotel  I am angelic. After meet it we mutually telephone even for certain days at my Bali often take the air with it.        

            After some days I at balinese and take the air with it I perceive so cozy while with it. maybe she is first one boy get to make me as happy as that,she so good on me despite of we new go to meeting. Don't feel today is days my last at balinese it is meant that today's day I last meet with it I perceive really sad. In the morning he calls up I and ask out me to a place which is place whereabouts us first time meet. There our mutually throw caprice while plays sand. And suddenly she says if she likes with me but, she also says that we that may not derived because distance that don't enable that thing. my that time just say“ it yach have our so friend just”.  handphone afterwards I sound and apparently it calls up from my friend that want to pass on that we have wanted go home. he even delivers me to go to airport at that time,are the latest our meet. but, although we don't meet again but we are still mutually telephone. up until some day card I am blacked out and at while since that is we was never speaking again ………………………………………………
